Individual Therapy
A Journey Toward Healing, Self-Awareness & Wholeness
Therapy can be a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and better understand the experiences that have shaped who you are. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing begins with developing a deeper relationship with yourself.
I primarily use Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, along with body-based somatic approaches, to help you explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Internal Family Systems is a gentle, non-pathologizing approach that recognizes that we all have different “parts” within us. You may notice parts of yourself that worry, criticize, avoid, strive for perfection, become overwhelmed, or work hard to keep you safe. These parts often developed for good reasons and may be carrying experiences, emotions, or beliefs from earlier in life.
Rather than trying to get rid of or silence these parts, IFS invites us to become curious about them and understand what they need. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, compassion, and connection with yourself.
IFS can help you move from feeling like you are fighting against yourself to developing a more peaceful and supportive relationship with your inner world.
Somatic Therapy
Our experiences don't live only in our thoughts—they can also be held in the body. Somatic therapy brings awareness to physical sensations, emotions, movement, breathing, and the ways your nervous system responds to experiences.
Together, we may gently notice what is happening in your body and explore what those sensations may be communicating. This can help you become more connected to yourself and recognize patterns that may be difficult to access through talking alone.
An Integrated Approach
I believe healing is more than simply understanding why we feel the way we do. It can also involve learning to listen to ourselves, developing a deeper sense of self-compassion, reconnecting with our bodies, and creating healthier relationships with ourselves and others.
Therapy is a collaborative process. We will work together at a pace that feels safe and supportive, creating space for greater self-understanding, healing, and personal growth.

Reiki
Rest, Reconnection & Renewal
Reiki is a gentle, relaxing energy-based wellness practice that offers an opportunity to slow down, quiet the mind, and reconnect with yourself.
During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed and comfortably rested while I use a light touch or work with my hands just above the body. The experience is quiet and supportive, allowing space for relaxation, reflection, and a deeper awareness of what you may be experiencing in your body and within yourself.
Reiki can be a beautiful complement to your personal journey of self-awareness and growth. Some people seek Reiki simply as a way to pause and receive restorative time for themselves, while others incorporate it into their broader wellness or spiritual practices.
My approach to Reiki is gentle, compassionate, and grounded in creating a peaceful space where you can simply be.
A Space to Pause
In our busy lives, it can be difficult to slow down and listen to ourselves. Reiki offers an intentional space to step away from the demands of everyday life and turn your attention inward.
Whether you are exploring Reiki for the first time or already have a personal practice, sessions are tailored to your individual experience and comfort.
Reiki is offered as a complementary wellness service and is separate from psychotherapy. It is not a substitute for mental health or medical treatment.

Hi, I’m Tami Bean, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience. I work primarily with adults navigating trauma, depression, substance use, anxiety, and other life challenges and transitions.
I have been working in the field of Social Work since 1998. My experience includes working on college campuses, in substance use treatment programs, child welfare, crisis centers, and programs supporting individuals experiencing psychosis, as well as working with a Special Victims Unit within a District Attorney’s office.
Each of these opportunities have enriched my life and shaped me as a therapist. They have given me the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and experiences and have taught me the importance of approaching each person with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique story.
I have also walked my own journey of recovery and healing. Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with caring and talented therapists and mentors who have supported me in my own growth. I am deeply grateful for the role they have played in my life and for the ways they have guided and supported me along the way.
I believe we are all on a journey. Sometimes we have the honor of supporting others, and sometimes we are honored to receive support ourselves. If I can be a source of support for you during this time in your life, I invite you to reach out.
I believe connection and a sense of belonging are important parts of the healing process. Our work together can be a place to begin building that connection—not only with others, but also with yourself. I believe that you are ultimately the expert in your own healing journey and that you already carry many of the tools and resources you need within you. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and a safe space to explore and discover those tools.
I am Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and incorporate somatic approaches into my work as appropriate. I am also trained as a Reiki Master through the Usui Holy Fire III system of healing. My practice is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions.
I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
